Kiwix-zim-updater v3.5 has released. this fixes a bug that could cause kzu to download the wrong zims/use the wrong metadata.
Any users with unattended kzu's should verify their libraries are intact and update promptly.
Thanks to everyone on github for their prompt feedback and to u/Peribanu for the code review.
If i run kiwix-zim-updater and look in kiwix-index for the regex /\d{4}-\d{2}(?!\.zim)/g which is essentially date codes NOT in YYYY-MM.zim format, i get 5 results.
Can I get a complete list of valid date parts? Also is this new or has it just happened to not get reported?

Hi all, just pushed out v3.4 of kzu, you can get it here. This fixes the recent bugs.
The kiwix-zim.sh file has been removed. Apologies for any inconvenience. You were warned. Use the kiwix-zim-updater.sh script instead. it is a drop in replacement

How come https://library.kiwix.org/catalog/v2/entries now gives links back to https://lbo.download.kiwix.org/zim/ instead of https://download.kiwix.org/zim/?
Zims are available thru https://download.kiwix.org/zim/ still but the library wants to refer back to lbo.download.kiwix.org? is this a permanent change?
I am using debian 13 with gnome 48 and whenever i switch my system's high contrast, the border goes totally white and is not even that high contrast.
Toggling high contrast on or off in Libre does nothing.
