I’m trying to leverage the 240 hour visa free transit policy

I actually live in Atlanta but plan on flying to JFK New York on a nonstop flight to Fuzhou China (one of the 30 recognized airport that allows for this). I then stay 9 days in Fuzhou China and plan on flying out of there to Taipei Taoyuan airport then fly back to the U.S.

Will this route qualified?

origin: JFK-> FOC (Fuzhou China)
exit mainland China: FOC-> TPE (Taipei Taoyuan)
exit Taiwan: Taipei-> JFK then eventually Atlanta

The JFK flight is XiamenAir MF 850 which fly directly from New York City to Fuzhou

I been a long term user for ally’s hysa love it for direct deposit free checks and ease of transfer.

In the last three years or so, I have opened Wealthfront (not fdic directly insured but insured through its partner -higher risk) earning 4.05%, paypal saving (I just park money here to shop at Costco and buy shop card for 5% grocery cash back), and Jenius 4.05%. So I been earning a good >4% in the last few years.

Jenius didn’t even need referrals or anything Wealthfront I do find new people every three months.

Are there any good hysa now Jenius is gone? I see that PiBank has some of the highest at this time but it lacks ach and only support wire. I also saw that on their App Store many people reviewed and wrote that they weren’t able to retrieve their money when they needed it or their account got closed for no reason.

Jenius ally and Wealthfront have/had all treated me well and never had any question asks about withdrawal. Anyone have any other recommendations? I just don’t like how ally is quite low and not competitive, Wealthfront not truly fdic insured, and looking for a replacement for Jenius. Marcus is too low it’s 3.5% today.
