First impressions

I got both batches in hand, the brown pair from MK Batch and the turquoise pair from AP Batch, so I could compare them side by side. After looking at both pairs closely, AP Batch is the clearly the winner for me. The difference is especially noticeable in the suede, the overall silhouette, and the way the shoes are put together. Both pairs look nice at first glance, but AP gives a much better overall impression.

Quality and materials

The biggest difference is the suede itself. AP Batch has a much nicer, softer looking texture with a more natural suede appearance, while the MK Batch looks a little flatter and less refined in comparison. The AP pair also has a better overall shape, with a cleaner silhouette that looks closer to what I would expect from the retail pair. The toe shape, proportions, and overall lines look more balanced to me.

Another thing I noticed is the finishing. AP looks more consistent throughout, especially around the stitching, the panels, and the transitions between the suede upper and the sole. The back of the shoes also looks clean, and the overall construction gives the AP pair a more premium appearance. The sole and its proportions look better integrated into the design as well.

The MK Batch is not bad by itself, but when you put the two pairs next to each other, the differences become much easier to spot. The suede on AP looks more convincing, and the entire shoe has a more refined and elegant shape. I also prefer the turquoise colorway from AP, although the colors are different, so this is more of a personal preference than a direct quality comparison.

Overall

For me, AP Batch wins this comparison without much hesitation. The better looking suede, more accurate looking silhouette, cleaner finishing, and overall proportions make it the stronger option. MK Batch is still decent, but if I had to choose one based on these two pairs, I would go with AP every time. I haven’t worn either pair yet, so I can’t comment on comfort or long-term durability, but based on the appearance and material quality alone, AP Batch is my clear favorite.

First Impressions
I was really impressed with these as soon as I took them out of the box. The all-black colorway looks incredibly clean, and the combination of the matte mesh with the glossy patent details gives them a really nice contrast. They have a sleek shape and look even better on foot than I expected. Overall, they have a very premium and well finished appearance.

Quality & Materials
The quality is honestly one of the strongest points of this pair. The patent material has a deep, glossy finish without looking cheap, while the mesh feels sturdy and well constructed. The stitching is clean and consistent, and all the panels line up nicely. I’ve already worn them several times and everything has held up perfectly so far. No loose threads, glue marks or noticeable flaws anywhere.

Overall
After actually wearing and testing them, I’m even happier with this pair than I was initially. They’re comfortable for longer periods, fit me perfectly and feel well made on foot. The design is versatile enough to wear with different outfits, but the glossy details still make them stand out.

I’ve been ordering from OG for a long time now, and I’ve always really liked their caps. I already have several different colorways in my collection, but this new batch with the updated Silver hardware is honestly way better than the previous version.

I have an entire OG collection, but now that the new Silver version is out, I’m going to have to get them all over again with the real Silver on top because they’re incredible.

The first thing I noticed when comparing them to my older pairs is how much more premium the new version feels. The updated silver detail gives the caps a much cleaner and more finished look, and overall the new batch just feels like a noticeable upgrade.

Quality and Materials
The quality is really solid. The caps have a good structured shape, the front panels hold their form well, and the mesh feels sturdy without being too stiff. The materials don't feel cheap, and everything feels well put together.

The embroidery is also one of the strongest parts. The logos have good texture and depth, and the stitching looks clean overall. Even when looking closely, the embroidery has a nice raised appearance and the edges are well defined.

The new Silver hardware is definitely a huge improvement in my opinion. It gives the cap a more premium look and makes the overall design stand out much more compared to the previous batch.

I also really like the shape and fit. The brim has a good curve, the cap sits nicely on the head, and the adjustable trucker style construction makes it easy to get a comfortable fit.

Overall
Overall, I'm really impressed with this new batch. I've been buying OG Project caps for a long time, so I already knew what to expect, but the updated version with the new Silver is honestly a big step up.

The materials feel good, the embroidery is clean, the shape is nice, and the updated Silver hardware makes a noticeable difference. If you already own some of the older versions, I would definitely consider getting the new batch because the improvement is actually noticeable.

Zegna Sneakers AP Batch

First Impressions:
The all black suede upper combined with the white sole gives them a premium look without being too flashy. They’re the type of sneaker that goes with almost anything, whether you’re dressing casually or a little smarter. Out of the box they looked really well made, and the suede felt soft and high quality.

Materials & Quality:
The suede feels smooth and consistent with no rough patches or glue marks anywhere. Stitching is clean and even throughout the whole shoe, and the sole is attached perfectly. The elastic lace system gives the shoe a unique look and makes it super easy to slip on and off. Overall, the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations for this pair.

Comfort & Fit:
I haven’t worn them outside yet, but I did try them on around the house. They feel amazing and surprisingly comfortable straight away. The interior is nicely padded around the heel, and the fit is true to size for me. They hold the foot securely without feeling tight, so I don’t think there will be much of a break in period.

Packaging:
The shoes came with the branded box, dust bags, and everything was packed securely. The presentation felt premium from the moment I opened it, and nothing arrived damaged or out of shape.

Final Thoughts:
I’m really happy with this pair. They have a timeless design that’s easy to style, the quality is impressive, and they feel comfortable from the first try on.
