Feeling totally defeated and disappointed. I flew out to San Francisco for a consultation for SSP and was kindly turned away because my thigh doesn’t pass the pinch test—it’s less than 1 inch. I apparently have “too much muscle” (which… thanks, I guess).

My forearms and thighs don’t seem to have any fat on them at all. This consultation now has me worried about the future. My only options now seem to be either abdo, a very thin RFF, or MLD.

I have never wanted a visible scar. I love my arms. I am so disappointed and grieving something I never even had.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Did you do something else? I feel very lost and so sad. A bit angry at my own body. Mainly sad.
