When I was around 20, I was struck with mono which caused encephalitis. I was 128 pounds (58 kg). My recovery was long and I didn’t take care of myself for years. My mental state was horrible from this disease, and I looked just as bad. I had almost no friends and was really depressed as both a result of my encephalitis, the way I looked, lack of a social life, and just everything happening. Fast forward to this year, after the many years of recovery, sleeping better, eating better, working out, and making friends, I am so much better now (also now 154 pounds/70kg). Take care of yourself no matter what!! Life is good and I am so happy now. Just my small brag of making through my years of dealing with this diseases and its aftermath. Cheers!
