What do people do with their Roth IRAs?

I know I should talk to a tax expert about this. Can anyone recommend one?

There's so much jargon about taxes; I need someone to break it down for me.

I want to apply for the DNV, but I have a Roth IRA account.

From what I'm reading is that I shouldn't withdraw (I'm 34), but shouldn't contribute either.

I thought I could just retire anywhere, but Spain doesn't treat Roth's the same way. What are people doing about this? TIA

Switching Dependent to Main Applicant?

What do y'all think?

My partner's company won't transfer him unless he has the right to work in Spain.
What if I applied for a visa (even as a student) and added him as a dependent?
Maybe that'll be enough for his company to transfer him.
Then, once he has his new contract, have him apply as the main applicant, and I could be his dependent.

I would like to hear about any possible obstacles with this. TIA!
