Building it is the easy part. How did you deal with the "marketing reality check"?
Hey everyone,
I think many of us go through the exact same cycle:
The High: You get an idea, start coding, launch features, and feel unstoppable while building the product.
The Wall: You finally launch, and... crickets. You realize that making a great tool is only 20% of the battle, and the remaining 80% is distribution, marketing, and getting actual human beings to care.
Transitioning from "developer mode" to "marketer mode" hits hard. Finding your first users, figuring out acquisition channels, or even just writing copy that converts can feel way more intimidating than solving complex technical bugs.
For those who have been through this:
How did you handle that initial reality check after launching?
What was the hardest part of marketing/acquisition for you, and how did you overcome it?
Would love to hear your experiences and what actually worked for you!
