I love when a character realizes something so terrible has happened that they start to lose their sense of reality and all they can do is say “No” over and over again. On a recent rewatch, I realized this happens 3 times in Season 1. Patricia in ep. 4 when she finds her “Your Turn” book was a book of witchcraft the whole time, Wick in ep. 7 when he sees the paddle boat has come undone from his boat, meaning he’ll have to cross the threshold himself, and Loftis in ep. 10 when he realizes his son is the descendant of Richard Warren.
