What might be wrong, and what meds can I give them to help?

I'm assuming if someone didn't play this season, the special guns and recipes would be unavailable forever?
Since I'm new, I'm wondering if there's a mod that can add past items and recipes to your current game?

I can't tell if the top row of Season Pass items are exclusive to purchase or if you can still get them without spending any money?
If so, if I buy the Season Pass now will I still get all the top row items that have already been passed?
I don't know what happened, but all of the sudden in the last day Mole rats and Radscorpions have totally ruined my game. I'm about ready to quit they're almost impossible to kill before they wreak massive damage all over my base. I'd head a devil creature or something gets activated once your base hits 60 people so I've kept my base at just 58. But now, every time either of these horrible units gets released it just kills my base, my people, drains all y money.
Please help. I'm wishing I hadn't bought stuff for my map because quitting now feels like I wasted money.
Lets say I wanted to mostly go for pets or lunchboxes. Would canceling lots of objectives make things harder in the long run? I've only canceled once in my whole game so I don't know what happens if you cancel more frequently.

I think I read you don't really need to have science and medicine to be 3 wide. Anything else that can be 3-wide that doesn't need to be if this is even right?
I wrote that wrong. I saw a post from like 10 years ago about this, and was wondering if not going 3-wide with Medbays and Science labs wasn't hurting your production?
I put different amounts of high strength people in my Power Generator Rooms and to my surprise the meter at the top didn't change at all. Have I been doing this wrong all along? I've only been putting people in rooms they align with for a buff in points that apparently I'm not getting?
