Can we take a moment to praise Anthony Carrigan?

I mean .... The dude had no eyebrows, and basically killed it acting wise. In a show about actors, he was Daniel day lewis.... Without eyebrows.

I actually cried when he died. That face..... So emotive... And hilarious at the same time.

Just finished a startup interview....

Good interview. Interesting work. Salary listed $120k. Cool.

At the end of the interview, the CEO tells me that they can't actually pay right now ......BUT! Buuuuuuuttttttt...... I have an amazing opportunity to become a founding partner! In a year, my shares could be worth 3-7 million!! (Or also $0 but they didn't say that, and if I said that then clearly I'm not a good fit).

Can I do 20 hours a week? No, they need 80+ hours. So it's not even like I could get a third job to cover my bills. My mother is sick. I need income now.

The best part was when the CEO described the company as a meritocracy. My man, if you're only employing people who can go a year without a paycheck, then you've baked nepotism into your hiring process.

I have a PhD, publish on the reg, am a fellow at a top tier research institution, and run my own consulting business, btw.

Is it just me, or does everything smell like bong water?

You guys know after you knock it down, during mop up and overhaul..... That smell....

It smells like bong water, right?

ETA: MY ENTIRE BATTALION IS GASLIGHTING ME. I KNOW they know what bong water smells like, but no one will admit it.

It smells like bong water!

Hi all,

So I'm going through a 6-month inline filter in less than a month. There's always been a lot of iron in the city water hookup here, but this is ridiculous.

I'm brain storming solutions and I'm looking at products like these spin down sediment filters. I notice they are either hundreds of dollars or less than 50, with not a lot of middle ground. This leads me to believe the cheap ones are shit, but I still don't understand how the expensive ones work.

I'm also considering just building my own inline prefilter out of raw materials.

Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?
