3LP/2CD/digital reissue of Somewhere Over The Rainbow on Strut Records. This is the first physical reissue of the album.

Live material recorded at The Bluebird in Bloomington, IN (July 1977). The original Saturn LP presents the performance heavily edited, with tracks chopped and resequenced. This expanded reissue restores a more continuous flow of the concert and includes roughly 90 minutes of previously unreleased material.

I'm hosting a thematic weekly hour-long Sun Ra radio feature on WCBN called SUN RA IS ON THE AIR. Two episodes have aired so far. This is the fourth iteration of a Sun Ra-focused program on the station, starting with UNSEEN WORLDS APPROACHING in the late aughts and two runs of INTERPLANETARY MUSIC that I hosted 2015-2018 and in the summer of 2024. The name is a throwback to a old long-running Ellington program on the station called THE DUKE IS ON THE AIR. Tune in Mondays 4-5pm EST at wcbn.org
