Found AGAIN at Rocky Point state park. Whilst magnet fishing

And before anyone says it. It was covered in muck and oxidation before I removed it and cleaned it partially. Once I realized what I had gotten, it was called into the local PD. I'm in complete shock to find the same type of grenade in the same spot, all within a month of each other.

Found AGAIN. In the same spot, in the same area.

Moment of silence for my first lost magnet today.

Was fishing at Castle Island Park in Boston today and got my scout magnet snagged 🍻 it served it's purpose of surveying for the real mag, but she was my first (an Amazon special) and now permanently resides in Boston. And yes. I tried multiple angles and techniques before calling it and cutting and salvaging what I could from the rope. Rest easy friend. You served well. 🫡

Seeking assistance with possible identification.

Found what I highly believe may be a revolver cylinder while magnet fishing in the northeastern United States. I've cleaned it up a bit, a didn't use anything stronger than some evapo-rust and a toothbrush. Was wondering if there is anyway to try to identify? Ive been using a magnifying glass to try and search for any markings but it seems like there may not be anything. I've made measurements using a tape and the entire cylinder measures around 5in around, around 1.25in from top to bottom, and the cylinder itself is right about .25in from top to bottom. I realize that may not be the most accurate way to measure but it's the best to my current ability. Any help that could be offered would be highly appreciated.

These guys here are amongst my haul today (rest were mostly old hardware and fish hooks)

Fairly certain the small piece is the cylinder of a revolver. The bigger fellow may be an old piece from the previous pier that was on this spot long ago.

Found this guy yesterday amongst other things. Having trouble identifying.

Best guess so far is some sort of guide for a chain for mooring, the Y at the top is curious, and then I object is pretty solid and heavy.

Magnetar US shipping.

Anyone in the US who's ordered at Magnetar, about how long did it take for you to receive a confirmation/shipping email. It's been about three days for me and I have not gotten anything as of yet.

New fisher, one of my biggest (and heaviest) finds yet

Took some finesse but I eventually pulled her out. I don't have the strongest magnet so I had to snag it in just the right way and give it just the right amount of pull pressure to free and get her out. Even dropped once halfway up and managed to get it out.

After only fishing a few days, I had to have my first swim today.

Trying out a new spot, first toss in and got one hell of a snag. Couldn't free from any angles, luckily had water shoes on and decided to say fuck it and hop right in. Got some weird looks as it's not really a normal swim spot, but I got to the magnet which was wedged real nice between two rocks, almost didn't get it, but after a few good jabs with a stick I managed to get it. I feel like I passed a right of passage today and felt like sharing! Happy hunting y'all.
