Hi Folks! I’m new here, relatively. I have two pairs of Parkhurst boots on their way to me, which I am very excited about! One of which is the Richmond in Moss Rambler. I don’t have much experience with rambler leather, specifically. Other than a pair of Alden Indy shoes in Waxy Commander, which isn’t exactly the same, as I understand it.

I have something of a silly question: could the boots be stripped of their wax (with something like a suede shampoo? Saddle soap?), then be brushed, and one would be left with a suede-like texture, free of the wax build up? Then one could condition and apply waterproof suede spray like what Saphir offers?

Hey folks. Selling my pair of Alden 403 Indy Boots, size 8E. I picked these up brand new from Alden in DC, and have only worn them twice. Even with some inserts, these just aren’t the right size for me. They have some light wear and creasing, simply because they’re CXL. Beautiful boots, pick them up if they’re your size!

Comes with the original box and dust bags.
