Visiting from out of town - want to get a guitar in my hands while in Taos.

I’ll be in town next week - family vacation.

I have been learning guitar the last 2 years and while I’m there for a week, I’d like to continue playing. I prefer an acoustic and I don’t particularly care about the brand/model (just not a classical guitar - nylon strings).

Any ideas where I could get one in my hands for a reasonable price for a week? I would take care of it and it would only be used at our residence (AirBNB).

Has anyone else been to Pickin' in the Backwoods Music Festival in Brown County?

I went last year and it was magical! I'm getting super excited this year and was curious if anyone else in town had heard of it.

In addition to a pretty substantial stage and legit artists, you can bring your instrument for a pickin' circle during the day and different camps at night are all playing various types of music and you can sit and listen or play along with groups.

It's such a cool event and I just can't wait till August! 😝

Am I alone?
