I'm consistently a half size down from Brannock in Grant Stones. This seems to basically be true across the board. One thing I find confusing is why Grant Stone, and other brands, don't calibrate to Brannock so that they're always true to size? Why not call your 8.5 a 9, for example, since that's the standard Brannock measurement? Wouldn't that be clearer for everyone involved vs telling people to size up or down?
