Took a solo trip last week exploring remote northern Nevada

Went up to explore and find fish in the Jarbidge, buck creek, and Independance mountain range areas. Hardly saw a soul and had a really fun trip.

Since February 1, the San Antonio Spurs are 36-3 in games where Wemby plays 15+ minutes. They are 3-4 in other games. His cumulative +/- over that same period is +624. The Spurs are -14 total in non-Wemby minutes in that 46 game span.

Pretty valuable guy.

Little native Redband from a creek cut into a cliff

Took a solo trip through Nevada focusing on small streams/creeks. This one actually wasn't on my radar, but was a real treat to find. Barely saw a soul over the entire 3 days.

Favorite spot from a Nevada trip. Natives out of an undercut cliff

Took a solo trip through Northern Nevada this weekend to explore and fish. This drive was to connect 2 points of interest, but had no idea it would be so scenic. This creek wasn't even on my radar, but what a treat to find some native redband hanging out under the overhang. One of my favorite blue line pulls ever.

We had an event in St George Utah, and decided to head over to the vermillion Cliffs for some camping and hiking. Great weather(other than one windy day). We hiked White Pocket, and got a permit for Coyote Buttes South. Amazing place to go, especially if you have kids. Just make sure you have a 4wd vehicle for the sandy road to the trailhead, which can get soft and deep.

I have a hunting pack with a shelf, and it doubles as a kid carrier when our daughter gets tired, lol.

We also found an excellent spot beside some hoodoos to park our off-road trailer for dispersed camping.

There was a risk of storms all weekend, so we avoided the are slot canyons this time.

Great way to kick off the season

We had an event in St George earlier this month, and so we decided to head over and spend a couple nights in the Vermillion Cliffs national monument. Amazing area, especially if you have a 5 year old who likes to climb on rocks, lol.

Found an awesome spot beside a couple Hoodoos to make camp for the weekend. Great start to camping season.
