tips on transitioning food?

helppp!! i have a picky waardy baby whose been on marshall's food for pretty much his whole life now (he turns one this august), and ive been trying to ween him off of that crap, but it feels sooo impossible. he'll tolerate oxbow kibble, but he prefers the marshall food instead. i also bought wysong kibble to slowly incorporate into his oxbow kibble (like i literally put 2-5 pieces of kibble in a bowl of oxbow) and he'll turn his nose right up at it :( any tips please???? he also doesnt like egg yolk or salmon oil!

i'd preferably want him on a raw diet too..

my deaf ferret refuses potty training

hi guys, i got my ferret snoopy (male) in november and i've been trying to potty train him since. he goes in his litter box in his cage perfectly fine, but when it comes to him free roaming, he just refuses to go on the liners.

he's also deaf, and extremely picky--he doesn't even like salmon oil or want to try anything new other than the food hes already on; he'd literally rather starve 😭 so im not able to reward him whenever he goes potty in the right spaces, and i can't like get his attention with my voice, so its just been really frustrating.

his choices of potty always change, he refuses to pee in corners and has decided to randomly just go potty in the middle of the floor or even under the dining table (which has ruined the floorboards 💔)

even if i catch him attempting to go in the wrong place and redirect him to where he's meant to, he insists he doesnt have to go potty anymore and i'll literally watch him go to the middle of the room and try to pee there instead. putting him in 5 minute timeouts after these mistakes doesn't register anything for him either.

reasonably so, my parents are frustrated although we love him so unbelievably much and i feel absolutely lost on to what to do. i feel like i've tried everything at this point. i'd really love any advice especially dealing with deaf ferrets.. :,)
