When does counselling start?

Has anyone understood how the NEET MDS 2026 bonus marks were calculated? A few of my friends and I have noticed an increase in our total attempted questions, but what confuses me is that when I calculate the score using the standard +4/-1 marking scheme, I still get the exact final score. If bonus marks were added and reflected in the attempts or correct answers, shouldn't there be a mismatch in the calculation? How were the additional marks actually incorporated into the final score?
