Workflow for the 1st photo: I had to use the AI to reconstruct the girl's left arm and hand, basing on what seems to be a trace of her hand that was still visible in the original. I also used the AI for some parts of the right hand and for some minor areas of the upper part of the background, I restored other areas of the bg, like the door, mostly doing a collage of the visible parts. I found the original poster on the internet. All the rest of the photo was restored manually with Photoshop. The girl's face could be seen by lowering the exposure, so no AI was used to restore the face. Also the silhouette of her left arm was partially visible lowering the exposure. Sadly the left hand details were completely lost, so I couldn't restore this photo completely without AI as I would normally do, but I limited it to the minimum possible.

I’ve clearly outlined the negligible AI tools used for transparency. For anyone struggling to distinguish between generative AI and basic enhancement tools, I encourage reading the detailed workflow below before commenting:-)
-> Restorations made manually with Photoshop. in a few cases (pic 1, 2 and 5) I used AI only for some minor areas of the background. (In general I never use it unless strictly necessary, only for things that the AI can handle without alterations, and never on the faces. - e.g. the sky in photo 1, the glare in photo 2, and something I don't remember in photo 5.xD)
-> Photo 2 - right part of the background reconstructed with AI.
-> Colorization of photos 1,2,3 made with AI + Photoshop, without any alterations of the original, at pixel-level.

I made the colorization with AI in a non destructive way, without alterations of the original photos. Photos 2,3,5 are restored partially using AI mainly for the background and on minor areas. AI never used on the faces
