No cpf and benefits, toxic environment

Hello, I need advice. I working in a job that doesnt pay cpf and then they use me as independent contractor and I got no benefits(sick leaves and annual leaves). i got shouted at and put down by outgoing staff regularly that I am replacing. Manager shouted at me said I am not proactive and claims I don’t want to do my role. I feel really stressed and don’t think I can carry on in this job. What they are doing is illegal, they don’t have office in Singapore and is a UK company. What should I do? I want to quit but if I quit do I get any form of compensation if I go to MOM? I already cried in this job a few times and is alrdy on the verge of depression.

Reprimanded by my manager openly and loudly

I am 2 months in my job as an on-site IT. My manager accused me of not being proactive because I have not delivered some tasks he asked me to do and he doesn’t seen proof of it-I haven’t delivered cus I was busy doing other things and it was like last week he asked me, and I didn’t even said I wasn’t going to do it. He threatened my job saying if u don’t want to do your role let me know I will make the necessary arrangements. He also said do your role and ask the colleague for the info. He also said I wasn’t proactive on teams in a group chat.

This started when he asked him to find out basic info from a colleague. I suggested that he could check with the said colleague himself. Frankly, I don’t know why he asked me to check with him. He could have just asked himself if it’s basic info. I also suggested that others might know it better and can be in a better position to provide that info. He insists I check with him.

When he made accusations and threatening my termination indirectly, I said what do u mean?

Just because of this you think I am not being proactive? He later barged in my room and screamed at me accusing me of not taking his instructions and questioning him. He also claims I am not productive and am just sitting in my room.

I told him it’s not true, I have proof I have resolved tickets and contributed in several projects before you arrived. I planned the move of the office and I was involved in migration of Domain controller to the cloud. I was always supportive and helpful of the team.

He asked me how long ago was that I said since the day I joined 2 months ago. He said why not we settle this with your agency. I am a contractor. Btw he also said I worked from home when I am not supposed to. I said I have a valid reason, I was sick.

He said that I should have taken MC. I don’t think he understands I am from an agency and I don’t need to take MC because the agency treats me like an independent contractor and I know that this is illegal because they do not pay me CPF and I do not have any benefits.

Guys, what do u think? Is this a red flag? Maybe it’s time I start looking for a new job.
