Jon could have saved Kings Landing by continuing to fuck his aunt Daenerys. The city burned because Jon was a prude.
If Jon had kept fucking Dany, she would have felt loved and protected by a westeros insider. Therefore, she wouldn't have believed that the only way she could hold power was with sheer brutality and fear. So Jon really is to blame here when you think about it. Men have made worse sacrifices than fucking their hot aunt.
