I just bought a 2013 base model from a Porsche dealership. 77k miles. No known issues. However, noticed ticking sound (which tracks w rpm) heard best from wheel wells. Attached video is fully warmed up. Same when cold though. After 1000 miles, burned through about 3 bars of oil from top and there's plenty of soot on the tailpipe. Taking it to dealer tomorrow to check before warranty expires but think it's bore scoring. Thoughts?

Update for those of us who are new to 981/: per dealer, this is normal sound.

Did I make them worse? Started w 3M wetordry 800 and went down to 3000. Then used Chem Guys P4 to polish with small blue, soft foam pad/power drill. They are very smooth outside, but now no where near as clear as they were before with what seem like new microcracks. Are they toast?

New to me. Already added CarPlay, backup camera and swapped windscreen for clear.

Thinking also red calipers. And changing out dash, side console trim, door upper trim and steering wheel to black for two tone look (second pic).

What are the best upgrade's mechanically (for cruising comfort only, not necessarily speed/performance)?
