These are the top performers and their first choice institutions in UTME over the last. We can notice a disturbing trend here that the brightest minds (according to JAMB) in the country - even those of Igbo origin have their eyes set elsewhere when it comes to their university education. I believe this is an indictment on the state of these institutions in the SE and the the region in general. The federal and state governments that have turned a blind eye to the decline of these schools need to held accountable.
