If you are doing pre-tug skin treatments, what are you using?

Curious about your topical usage. Originally i was using skin moisturizer with retinol after my routine but after a bunch of recent research i began a completely different routine to try and promote mitosis and gain some efficiency.

Here is what i am doing now.

Pre tug:
Red light dorsal and ventral 4mins each
GF 15% (EGF Serum) - mitosis primer
Multi-peptide + Copper GHK-Cu - fibroblast stimulation

4+ hour tension session

Post tug:
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - post session inflammation control
Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5 + Ceramides - hydration & barrier support
Vaseline - occlusive seal

Once a week i add Defferin Adapalene 0.1% to post tug for retinoid receptor activation. Note only to outer skin, it’s not meant for mucosal skin at all.

If you have a topical skin routine, what is it?

Dekeratinization realization on early memories of circumcision

I've been lurking here for years and have read plenty of posts regarding dekeratinization and this morning had a sudden realization of the impact it (keratinization) had on me as a kid.

I was almost spared from circumcision at birth. Wasn't born in a hospital, parents had me for a couple weeks while they travelled across the state. They got back home and religious pressure from family must have taken hold. Ended up with a High and Tight circ which is typical for my region.

Anyhow, the memory I was having this morning was my grandmother that I lived with when I was 4 or 5 years old until 12 was always getting on to me saying "Quit playing with yourself" when in actuality what she was seeing was me, a kid with a scratchy uncomfortable feeling on his glans, adjusting himself by putting (through clothing) his thumb on the top of his glans and using his other fingers to push up from below to position his penis straight up in his whitey tighty underwear to get relief from the scratchy feeling.

This action went on for years, I guess until my glans had enough keratinization to not be as uncomfortable. I did get better about being more discreet to not be called out by her or the other parental units.

It's just astonishing how the foreskin really is a necessity for proper penile health and general comfort.

I am pretty curious to know if anyone else has memories of having to "adjust" themselves in their early years, or even now as adults.
