Bed bugs in 2026?
I've heard stories of bed beds in the refuges (hotels too?) in the past, but so far haven't seen anything for 2026. Are they not an issue this year?

Hello,
I was hoping I could get some feedback on my upcoming TMB trip over 11 days. Each horizontal section in the image above is for each day. NOTE: the distance and elevation for day 1 is wrong: it includes additional distance and elevation only if taking an extra optional route.
I mostly just want to make sure each day isn't unreasonable in difficulty, especially with risk of acute mountain sickness.
Thank you in advance!
I'm planning to do a multi-day trek on the TMB staying overnight at huts with luggage transfers between huts. My idea was to bring a light pack each day during the day for food, water, small change of clothes (for colder weather or rain).
I really like Ultraspire packs, but am open to other brands with strong recommendations. I'm having trouble choosing an Ultraspire pack though since some of them seem similar. The Legacy 3.0, Zygos 6.0, Traverse Hydration Pack, and Big Bronco all seem to potentially fit this bill - or maybe not. If anyone can give suggestions and guidance on this, I'd appreciate it!
