Wondering if anybody can help. I have a .Avi file that I uploaded something like 10 years or more to Google Photos. I've been trying this morning to download it so I can stitch it to another video to do a then and now video using YouTube create.

The video plays perfectly fine via the Google Photos app but, when I try to download it, the file shows up (after the download completed notification) in the Files app but, the thumbnail shows up as a grey box with a film clapper thing in the middle and when I tap on it, there is a black screen and the thing that moves along the bar as if the video is playing moves as it playing the video but, there is no sound or picture.

I get the grey box thumbnail when trying to use the file in the YouTube create app and in fact, it doesn't let me select it.

So, is this a bug or am I missing something somewhere?
