Hardware removal surgery tomorrow. Any tips?

Hardware removal surgery tomorrow. Any tips?

So it's been 13 months since the ORIF surgery for my trimalleolar ankle fracture and I've decided to get the hardware removed. The two longer screws are causing the most pain and issues. The pain on the inside of the ankle is basically always there and I can't walk down the stairs normally because of the pain. I don't feel much pain around the plate, I do feel it when on tippy toes or sitting cross legged.. my surgeons suggested that if I'm getting surgery, might as well get it all out.

To people who have been through a similar situation, how did the surgery look like and especially how was the recovery process?

I finished the series last night and I have to say, I feel like something is gone, never to be back.

I watched all 10 seasons in just about a month and even though there were some seasons where I just had to push through because some storylines kept stretching out, I am glad I stayed with it and watched it to the end.

The finale, both the episodes, were absolutely everything one would hope for as a conclusion to a series as amazing as Smallville was. Rarely has a show ended so beautifully for me and boy, am I glad we actually got to see the suit, however short-lived.

The character developments, the way the actors portrayed the emotions, the dilemmas, the struggles, everything was just perfect.

Even though they never use the word "Superman", Smallville has got to be (one of, if not) the best Superman adaptations out there.

It has been a beautiful time, having Clark's adventures to look forward to every evening after work and on the weekends and now I have a hole in my life. This is certainly one of the series I wish I could watch again for the first time. Too bad, I don't have the Neurotoxin from Summerholt lol.

Now I'm looking for other Superman movies to fill that void, but I doubt anything comes close. Perhaps the 2025 Superman movie, if I can assume that it starts right after Smallville ends.
