What is a good pokemon game for someone who has never played Pokemon before

I want to recommend a game to my sister

I’m looking into buying cyberpunk 2077

I have never played a first person RPG and I’m considering I’ll find it to difficult and quit playing and I don’t want to waste my money if that happens. How difficult is it for beginners who have never played before?
