Air bubble or positive?

A friend had an unmasked exposure last Tues to someone who later tested positive. Friend tested negative on pluslife on sat (Day 4), and testing again today (day 5) this was the result

The graph and machine both say negative - do we think this is an early positive or air bubbles? Yellow channel 7 looks like air bubbles, but channel 2 blue looks a bit concerning tho it also doesn't look like a proper s-curve to me - running a 2nd test

UPDATE: tested again and it was negative - will be testing again tmr too (day 6)

Pluslife how to use video recommendations

Hi all! Wondering if folks know of any pluslife instructional video recommendations for beginners?

I'm lending mine out to a friend and have provided some written guides, but thinking it'd be nice to send them some videos too. Will be also walking them thru it, but thought it'd be handy to share a video too

[FO] First cross stitch for bday gift

My first foray into cross stitching for a birthday gift, and I think I found a new hobby!!! It's around 5k stitches on 14 aida, and took me around 4 weeks to finish - (note to self never cross stitch on a deadline). My eyes were Very Tired by the end of it, but backlighting and a cross stitch stand really helped. At one point I had to pull an all nighter 17-ish hr session from 12noon to 5:50am, and I still ended up having to ask for an extension LOL will be sure never to do that to myself again, but otherwise it was very enjoyable!!

Pattern itself - i really like the colour design in the lips and teeth, especially the colour gradient in the lips was so satisfying and pretty! I also really enjoyed doing the teeth - I wouldn't have minded them being even bigger in the whole piece. I did not really like the giant light pink block in the middle of the tongue and was also taken aback by truly how huge the tongue was gahah, but that might just be my personal preference and my friend liked it in the end so it worked out! The colours themselves turned out a bit different from what the preview had showed, so I was a bit sad by that, but it still looked great (the light pink especially was a lot lighter than the pattern pictures)! I'm glad i did the black thread to outline the space between the lips and teeth in the middle, since it really brought out the contrast (I used a black thread from a non-DMC company that was a lot darker than the black DMC aida itself!). I skipped doing the black outlining around the entire piece tho, since I ran out of time and steam, but it probably would've popped out even more if so

Anyways, I really like cross stitching I think - I like that you're guaranteed a good end result as long as you follow the pattern approximately, and the motion of cross stitching is quite relaxing esp when you have something audio-focused in the background! I was so burnt out after I finished this one, but I found myself going thru a pretty noticeable adjustment period afterwards where I didn't know what to do with myself without cross stitching to occupy me haha My next project I will be sure not to have a deadline to make the process more enjoyable

Isolation/masking for Cold?

How long should one isolate or where a mask in the shared spaces at home for the common cold? Is isolation until end of symptoms okay?

(This is for when flu, covid, rsv have been ruled out by a molecular test)

False positive flu b?

Just got a positive for 1 of the channels for flu B (on a 2 person pooled test), but the graph doesn't look like there was any amplification?? The line looks the same as the other channels.. I'm suspecting false positive, but not sure if I can access more flu/rsv tests to test again asdfgl

What would folks do if u got a test like this?

Learn from my mistake: Detecting Early Positive on Pluslife- 2 Negative Rapidtest 48hr rule doesn't apply until after initial positive rapidtest/or after a suitable amount oftime has passsed

Hi all - I detected a positive covid result on pluslife for my family who lives in another household (we dont live together)- they are not covid conscious and dont mask or test normally. It was positive for 1 family member on Saturday before they were symptomatic, all other family members were negative - they had symptoms from Saturday night to Sunday. In the moment, i told them about the 2 negative rapid tests 48hrs apart to end isolation rule of thumb. BUT I FORGOT and didnt consider that they would test very early on - I forgot to tell them this rule only works if you've already been testing positive on rapidtest too!!!!!!

They tested negative on rapidtest on both Monday and Tuesday and told me today Wednesday after I followed up with them - I think there is no way in hell that the covid infection is over so fast

So now they think they're safe and probably out of isolation, when in fact it's much more likely the rapidtest hasn't even started detecting the Start of the infection.

I have messaged them my concerns, but I'm really devastated as I thought I'd helped prevent spread, but I gave them faulty information, didnt check in earlier, and now they think they're negative and clear when they're not really. I feel really guilty and also a bit annoyed at them for not thinking deeper about it being suspicious to be over an infection so fast, but also just want to put this info out there for anyone in the future

EDIT: Deleted my 'early positive' phrasing - it was a definite positive result on pluslife, I just meant early as in we caught it before symptoms started and before others in the household started testing positive on Pluslife
