2025 sorento sx gas cluster gone
Dropped off my car 2025 sorento Sx gas to dealership Wednesday. The digital cluster froze on Monday. Stuck at 50mph and frozen. Car drove fine. Digital cluster was useless and couldn’t tell if turn signals were working cause of no indicators. Got home turned car off and digital cluster was still on 45 minutes later frozen. Called dealership they said to disconnect negative terminal for 30 minutes. And hook back up and should work. Did that and then the screen was just blank. Would only show if I was in drive or reverse or park. And that was it. No cluster at all. No speedometer no gas tank. Nothing. Was at dealership for 3 hours before they caved and gave me a loaner and said that they tried to reinstall software in car and it failed every time. So they had to report it to Kia corporate and they are going to have to have a Kia engineer come time a look at it. Haven’t even had the car a year. And this is the second time I’ve had weird electrical problems with the car. I love the car others wise. But I have no confidence in it.
