SW job market in Brisbane

Hi all, I am graduating from my Bachelor of Social Work this month, and I have been looking for jobs for the past couple of weeks already. I am wondering about people's opinions/experience about the job market in Brisbane. As a newly grad I am pretty open to anything to be honest. For context I did my first prac at YJ and have since been working as a Youth Worker at the department (12 months), second prac at a tele-mental health service.
I have done an interview at YJ for a case worker role, which I unfortunately didn't get but received some good feedback and some constructive criticism as well. Obviously it helped that I already work in the department hence why I secured this interview, but other applicants had more experience and also I was not going to be graduated by the time the position had to be filled.
I've since applied for a few (not many) jobs in similar roles, child youth and family related case work roles, and have been rejected for those few (not even landed an interview). I know I have just started looking, but I'm starting to worry about the prospects of getting a job soon...? Appreciate any insights and tips!!

C1 Transit Visa Sydney (Australia) consulate booking

Hi all, this is my first time applying for any type of US visa. I'm a Brazilian citizen residing in Australia and am traveling to Brazil with my Australian partner in November, with a layover in Dallas. I completed my application, paid for it and everything (after several crash outs because the websites are appalling). And now I'm struggling to actually book an appointment. The calendar is showing up for me, but the earliest available appointment is in JANUARY 2028 (???!?), I've been checking several times a day for the past few days, and nothing has changed. Is this normal? Has anyone booked an interview at the Sydney consulate in the past few months? I'm starting to worry given I'm supposed to be travelling in a few months. Am I missing something here?

I was given the suggestion to apply for a B1/B2 transit instead since it's the same price and valid for tourism and for longer, but when I looked at average wait times for appointments at the official website it was approximately a 5 month wait, whilst the C1 transit was <0.5 month wait. So I chose to not risk cutting it too short, but now I don't even know anymore.
