Will a 1 Hour connection time at HKG be enough time to transit for an international flight to the USA?

The flight is arriving from Manila then to Dallas. The reason Im not getting an earlier flight is I have an early morning appointment in Manila, so 12:30 would be the best time. But could possibly cancel if the connection in HKG is too tight

The itinerary is this:

12:30 MNL --> 15:00 HKG

~ Transit at HKG: 1 hour, 5 minutes ~

16:05 HKG --> 17:50 DFW

~ Transit at DFW: 2 hours, 23 minutes ~

20:23 DFW --> 23:35 SDF (final destination)

What do you think about this itinerary? Thanks for any suggestions or inputs
