I've bought a wonder of life on earth by henry gee and i like how accessible it is but to my disappointment there's not really any sources mentioned.

Much of the discussion on evolution vs versions of creationism is very partisan.

I'd like to have something i can also share with my religious family to explain my views, without hostility. While also learning myself.

I've been raised in the Dutch bible belt and Haven't finished college so much of it is new to me. And I've read and listened to a lot of podcasts. But i miss the sources.

I'd like to calmly read about how for example dating of fossils is accurate and why. How it's done. In an academically proofed and neutral manner. With papers to back it up.

About the theories on the start of life. On algea and carbon dating. Dinosaur's and the origin of man.

Without having to type in "eukaryote" into google scholar and pray i get something that makes sense

Is there something like that?
