Buying land is such an absurd thing to do

What do you mean I'm giving money to another human being for a piece of the earth, that we found here?

That really doesn't make sense at all but it is what it is i guess.

Ni hayo tu, good Sunday to you all.

Guys, how often do you text you guy friends and lady friends?

I rarely text my guy friends. In fact, we hardly ever text. The last time I probably texted one of my guy friends was on his birthday, and maybe because we hadn’t met in a while. And we're still good.

I apply the same thing to my female friends. I don't text them regularly either, but somehow they have an issue with that.

The only girl I text almost daily is my girlfriend. Everyone else, whether male or female, gets the same version of me. If we don't talk for weeks and then meet, we're still friends. Nothing changed.

So to the guys here, mko kama mimi? Do you also rarely text your guy friends and lady friends? I’m not planning to change regardless of what you say 😂, I just want to know if I'm alone in this.

And to the ladies, why do some of you expect a guy to keep texting you every day when you're just friends, especially when he already has a girlfriend?

Job or school

My course is 6 years but we graduate twice. In 4th year and 6th year. I'm about to graduate 4th year and I've landed a job. It's in mombasa. And I'm in Nairobi. I've always wanted to live in coast and maybe this might be the chance to do so. The starting pay is 35k. And I don't know. I have the option to sort of defer for upto 4 years before coming back to finish the remaining two years. However if I don't finish the 2 years now, I can't be registered and get a licence🤷🏽

I'm not so sure I want to continue with 5th and 6th year now. I also don't think my parents will support this or Relocating to mombasa. Also is 35k worth it and is it enough to stay in Mombasa? What would you have done if you were in my shoes genuinely?

Edit: I will just finish school. Thanks for the insights. and its architecture school.
