Unsure about what type of worm this guy is but noticed them crawling around in the sand bed/along the glass. (Cup is dirty water from a frag we just brought home from LFS not our tank water). Any idea if it could be harmful and suggestions on how to get rid of them? Mixed reef tank with anthias, clowns, goby & box fish. Initial thought is adding a rass (we have a 3in sand bed) but worry about aggression with our juvenile box fish. Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Wondering what brand of salt you all use and swear by. We purchased the largest bucket of the Red Sea Salt and our numbers were continuously low. Our corals are fairly small so that was a surprise. I tested a fresh batch of salt water and the numbers were low. I reached out to Red Sea and they just gave excuses of why I may have been messing up the results. A week later I took a sample of a new batch to my LFS to test and the results were the same, all parameters low. I sent that off to Red Sea and again, no help. You guys use anything better? (Custom lid in production)

TLDR; Red Sea is pissing me off and I need salt recs.

[SOLVED!] I have two Trachy and this newer one has a feather like tentacle that extends 6 or so inches out from it. I haven’t noticed this on my other one in the few months we’ve had it. Is it a sweeper tentacle? Or something else? Looks like I can only upload a photo and not a video so hopefully this photo was a good enough capture to help ID
