Went couple months ago testing if going full g-hooks on my K25. Changed it back quite quickly as I started to fumble more and opening and closing the pack was much slower and more cumbersome. Then my better half started saying (she also has black K25) that side pockets were hard to use because of g-hooks. So I ordered her and also myself some sr buckles and here we are. Let’s see how I like these after couple of weeks of testing. So far they look and feel nice and pockets are way faster to open and close.

Askare has become my everyday carry bag and today wanted use it as a hip bag which is how I prefer to carry it when walking in the wilderness without my K25. Today with me I only had a rain jacket and one small camera so Askare was almost empty.

And yes, there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Testing whether I like normal buckles or g-hooks more. They sure look cool and makes the lid look slimmer.

Here’s a nice little setup I’ve created for myself for day hikes. Bought some extra buckles so I could attach Askare to the front so I don’t have take the backpack off everytime I want take my camera out when I’m hiking. Looks might be questionable but works as you would think 😎😅

Two K25’s in the house! My partner liked my brown one so much that she wanted one for herself 😎 She also said we should now buy ourself some name tags and other patches! 😅
