Guys I don’t know what to do. I have an anxiety disorder and ever since getting my blue tongue skink I’ve had really bad anxiety about literally everything about him. Him dying randomly, him getting out, him biting me when changing his bowls. I genuinely don’t know if I should rehome him or not because it’s really bad and I’ve only had him for a week.

Hi everyone! I downloaded reddit just to be in one of these to know what’s best for my new son! I’m still decorating his tank and was wondering and hoping anyone had some advice for me! I have heard not to put any kind of hide over a heat matt because they can burn themselves, but that’s also where he likes to sleep so I want him to be comfortable and feel safe, also does he need a water bowl he can fully soak in? Also my tv is 6 feet away from the tank, is that fine? Sorry I know this is a lot but I really want to do this right haha
