Any thoughts on where this petrified wood is from?
I adopted a large rock collection which was languishing in an elders’ yard. He’s no longer able to remember the exact location or identity specifics but mainly collected in Oregon, Idaho & Nevada. This coloring & grain pattern is so unique, I’m hoping someone might know where it’s from. Very blue.. as shown in the last microscope pic (wet).
