Stadsprocessie/City procession (17-5)
Aanstaande zondag (17 mei) is de jaarlijkse stadsprocessie. De processie gaat vanuit de St.Servaas-Basiliek (Henric van Veldekeplein) naar de OLV-Basiliek. (Route staat op de tweede afbeelding)
De processie zal starten om ongeveer 11:45 en duurt ongeveer 1 uur. Ook wordt deze uitgezonden door TVMaastricht.
Verbonden aan de St.Servaasdag zoals in een eerdere post vermeld, is de processie het einde van de St.Servaasweek voor onze patroonheilige van de stad.

This coming Sunday (May 17) is the annual city procession. The procession will proceed from the St. Servaas Basilica (Henric van Veldekeplein) to the Our Lady Basilica. (Route is shown on the second image)
The procession will start at approximately 11:45 AM and will be going on for 1 hour. It will also be broadcast by TVMaastricht.
Connected to St. Servaas Day, as mentioned in a previous post, the procession marks the end of St. Servaas Week for our patron saint of the city.
