Folks are acting like two things can’t be true at the same time. We’re definitely seeing Kanan become the sociopathic, murderous drug dealer that he was in OG Power.

But why are ppl acting like we didn’t just watch the last 3-4 seasons of Raq doing foul shit to him? Manipulating him to shoot Howard, the gun in his bag, the lies & manipulation. Kanan is a POS but he’s a monster of Raq’s creation. I’d even say Raq is a sociopath herself, which makes sense as to why Kanan grew up to become one

It’s not one or the other. You can see how evil & heartless Kanan has become and that he’s responsible for his own actions while still realizing that Raq played a very big role in who he became.

Y’all deadass losing me with all the hoops you’re jumping through to excuse her actions. As early as the Season 1 finale, the show goes out of its way to practically spell it out for the audience that Raq is a villain in her own right, even to her own son.
