Tips for keeping Tee-Ball players focused in between games.

This is rec ball, not travel. 4-6 year olds.

I know it's almost impossible. But what do you all do during the two-hour breaks between games to help them refocus for your game?

Our league adopted a crazy playoff format: we play three games in one day and six games over three days.

Thanks for the advice.

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a torn labrum, biceps anchor tear, and calcific tendinitis in the shoulder — especially if you’re a parent of young kids.

I just had MRIs on both shoulders.

Left shoulder: confirmed superior labrum tear with extension front and back, torn biceps anchor, and calcific tendinitis in two rotator cuff tendons.

Right shoulder: possible labrum tear, irritated biceps anchor, calcific tendinitis, and a hooked acromion causing impingement.

The pain has been 8–10 at night, and I haven’t slept well in about two weeks. I’m doing what I can with positioning, but the pain wakes me up constantly.

I’m meeting with my doctor soon, but I’d love to hear from people who’ve been through this:

• What helped you manage the pain before surgery or treatment?

• Did anything help you sleep?

• If you had surgery, how tough was the recovery?

• How did you handle daily life afterward — especially lifting, carrying, or helping young kids?

• Anything you wish you had known before choosing surgery or PT?

I’m nervous about the post‑op period because I’m very hands‑on with my kids, and I’m trying to understand what’s realistic.

Any advice, personal experiences, or tips would mean a lot.
