Is his movement a good or bad sign?

He hasn’t moved a lot before, but today when I went to feed him he immediately started moving when I approached the tank. Usually he doesn’t seem to notice or care if someone comes near him, is it maybe just because he knows I might feed him?

I was also wondering if it could be a sign of distress, like is he trying to communicate his water isn’t good or something? Or is he ill?

I know he’s underweight but he ate 3 pellets today right before these videos, and ate 2 yesterday as well as some frozen bloodworms.

What’s up with him?

(The pictures with the plants are from yesterday and the ones of him in the empty tank are today right after I changed the water)

I’ve emailed a vet but I am physically incapable of taking him in person, so he didn’t get an exam done so I still have no idea what’s up. I don’t think he has fin rot, because the vet would’ve noticed in the pictures I sent. I also fasted him for 2 and a half days because I just came back from a trip and my cousins were looking after him and I saw his tank had wayyyy to much uneaten food in it, so I thought his swimming sideways was a sign of constipation.

Now he swims normal, but when he’s not moving he is still sideways, and he isn’t moving a lot. I’ve also noticed him slowing swimming backwards a few times, like a car backing up and idk if that’s normal or not. I’ve been shaking the tank slightly every once in a while to make sure he’s still alive, because he’s just been in the corner up against the filter rod most of the time, not even moving his fins. His tail does have a hole, I’m assuming that’s from the decor or rocks, so I ordered new silk plants online. I took out the rocks but I kept the decor because I didn’t wanna stress him out with an empty tank.

I just changed the water and cleaned all the decor, I also added some aquarium salt. I cannot test the water for anything because I had to kinda beg my dad to buy the aquarium salt and new plants, like he was not gonna buy me anything else like a ph or nitrate testing kit. My dad’s also been pissing me off by saying I’m the only person who cares this much about a fish, like no, dude other people see their pets as a part of their family, not just a hobby or whatever. This is an actual living creature, ofc I care about him. Plus it’s unfair because I’m lowkey the only one who’s taking care of him but it was my dad and sister who decided to get a betta fish randomly on a whim without doing any research or buying the proper equipment.

I don’t think I can really do anything else, especially because of the fact that I cannot go out and buy supplies or even buy anything online without my dad’s permission. So please, if anyone could give me advice on what to do or what might be wrong with him, I would really appreciate it. I honestly think he might just end up dying, and that would like really break my heart dude.

EDIT: I just saw him put a pellet in his mouth then spit it out, is it possible he’s so picky he is starving himself? He’s been healthy until now and I haven’t fed him any other pellets before. I’m using the Betta Buffet brand. I also tried hand feeding him and the same thing happened, he just spit it out.

bumps on my thighs

19 AFAB, 5’5, 83Kg, not on any medications/drugs.

There’s these purple-ish and red spots on my thighs that have been there for a few years now, they have gotten darker and bigger over time. They’re bumpy not smooth. Some of them are pimples and when I pop them they bleed a lot, I try putting bandages on sometimes, but if I don’t pop them it hurts. The picture doesn’t show all the discolouration very well I think.

I have asked a doctor about this, she said it’s fine and to just put cream on it. The thing is they haven’t gone away and it’s still getting worse. I talked to this doctor in January. I did believe my weight was a cause too, because my thighs are huge, but I’ve lost over 10Kg since then and nothing’s changed. I fear my thighs are permanently discoloured/scarred, I really don’t like it.

Does anyone know if there’s something I can do to lessen it or make it stop? Is this an actual problem or is it normal and I am overreacting? Is it a medical condition? What caused it?
Please help this is really bothering me, thank you 😓
