Getting Irata+sprat ticket with no prior experience in canada

Hello there, i am 18 from vancouver canada, i just got my first aid (OFA) Level 1 and am on my way to get fall protection done. After that me and a friend are getting a dual certification for irata and sprat.

I have worked a steady job throughout my senior year and year out of high school but have not had much trades experience, but i’ve worked with tools for a long time.

I want to hope that my certifications, skills, and care for safety is enough to get a fair shot at a long time career. I plan to become a NDT technician in the coming years but as of right now i just need to transition to a basic lvl 1 job so i can pay bills.

I know there is a lot of work around my area, window washing, maintenance and inspections, caulking, a lot of these companies seem to have alot of openings i just don’t want to get these tickets, search for work for months and months and now i have to take a refresher course, would be a nightmare.

If anyone has advice anything is appreciated!

Is chasing a long term career in vancouver a good idea?

I have seen posts about the weather during the winter and have some concerns about financial stability. I am starting the irata level 1 course soon and have no experience in any trades that pair well with rope access.

Does anyone work window cleaning and pressure washing with stable hours through the winters out here? i have no problem with going to school later in the future, i just don’t want to be stuck looking for seasonal work during bad weather.

I see that some companies out here may need ice removed on the bridges, and maybe some indoor opportunities, but i’m not sure what the demand is like

Looking to build Troy m14 mcs but having trouble

I’ve checked everywhere and can say pretty confidently that there are none of these on the market anywhere, and the chassis cannot be found in canada, exporting from the us is not an option either.

At this point 3d printing the chassis seems like the only way. I am planning to put it on a we m14 gbb or any m14 clone i can get.

This would be my first airsoft build so if i’m missing something some guidance would be greatly appreciated 😅
