fishkeepers help asap!
i have a major problem! i have a 40 gallon community tank, and a ten gallon “hospital” tank. i have a kuhli loach who had scraped itself from the gravel i previously had in my 40 gallon, i moved it to the hospital tank to heal while i escaped my aquarium fully with sand. it has since healed over and i have returned it to the 40 gallon. i noticed last night that it appears to have somehow contracted ich (im assuming from when it had the open wound it weakened its immune system or something?) in the 40 gallon, in a breeder net i have 4 baby sparkling gouramis. i moved the baby gouramis into the hospital tank and turned up the temperature in the 40 gallon. in the hospital tank, i also have the mother sparkling gourami who in the past couple days had some lifting on her scales and i wasn’t sure what it was. today she appears bloated and can’t swim well and i think she may have dropsy. i only have the 2 tanks and i don’t know how to help the mother gourami, or where to keep the babies without putting them in harms way. help!
