What should I figure out before starting dropshipping?
I'm still in the learning stage and haven't launched a store yet. I've watched enough stuff to understand the basic process, but I'm trying to get a few things right before I start spending money rather than just picking whatever product and supplier looks good and hoping for the best.
How do you actually judge whether a supplier is worth sticking with long term? Is shipping and price mostly what matters or are there other things I should be checking before building a store around their products? I'm also a bit lost on product selection. Should I be looking for something that's already clearly selling and try to market it differently, or is it better to find products that aren't being pushed everywhere yet? And when you find something interesting, do you order a sample before running any ads or test demand first?
