I genuinely think I spent more of my playtime trying to make my house look (somewhat) nice than I did actually grinding my way to 109%. No clue why this is what is keeping me hooked, but I don't really care. It's fun! (I edited the photos to show all of the room stats and colors and stuff)
Breeding Rooms - I split my breeding room into two at some point to keep two separate lineages. One with Super Luck + Loot Corpse, and another with Goofball + Repair. Though, once I got the double-head mutation and updated to the beta, I decided to condense it to just Repair + Super Luck, and shuffle cats around every so often to prevent inbreeding.
Storage Room - I opted for high comfort over a fighting pit, as at a certain point I got bored of constantly sending cats down the pipe and skipping through the same dialogue. Even when I do pipe cats it's usually just to the trash, 25 coins or a random rare item aren't worth the clicks. I had a dedicated mutation room prior to the beta, but with the change to no longer remove birth defects, I opted to max out mutation in this room to fill in any non-mutated body parts.
Reception/Matchmaking - These are mostly superfluous. Having a spare room for a couple to be alone for one night is beneficial, as they are much more likely to initiate their partner and less likely to cheat. If a stray has decent stats, I'll hold on to it for a little bit in reception to 'cleanse' the bloodlines.
Low appeal is important as well; having only collarless abilities gives the other partner a bias when passing down abilities. Lower stats can be easily fixed in a generation or two, so that isn't a concern.
As I said in the title, this is my end-game and I am loving it! Please, show off your houses too, and let me know the thought process; I love seeing all of the ideas and designs! (And now I go back to grinding more >!Future!< runs.)
