I was able to get this guy for free(2hp belt). Want a table saw at the house more for hobby but am far from competent when it comes to table saws. With that being said, safety is the concern and know this needs a guard and riving knives.. Also needs a fence. I’m wondering is it worth getting these oem or replacements like shark? What about fences? Am I going to have too much money in this that it is better to get a different saw new or used?

Redoing 60s floor at house with a grit progression of 36,60, and 100. I see lots of different things about with grain and 45 or 15 degree angles to help with cupping. This was after angled passes and with grain passes with 36 grit. Is it best to keeping going with grain until all stain is removed then step up grits or do more angled passes until it is removed then all grain passes?.
