M81 - Bode's Galaxy

M81 - Bode's Galaxy

After struggling for several weeks with PA, because my dumbass decided to use onstep to align instead of more traditional methods, I finally captured M81, which is also my first dso. It isn't perfect, since I was in a bit of a hurry, so I only got 15 pictures, 30" of exposure and 1600 iso each. It's not too much, but I'm very proud of it.

It seems like I got coma, but I have used a corrector for this photo. Any advices? The equipment used:

- Skywatcher 150/750 pds

- EQ5 motorized with onstep

- GSO coma corrector

- Canon 60d + T2 ring + edyson T2 to 2" adapter

This picture was taken in a bortle 6.6 zone, with a really good seeing. I haven't processed it yet.

Onstep goto issue

I have a skywatcher Eq5 motorized with an onstep V5 pro from Terrans Industry. I've been struggling with it for about 3 weeks. I'm trying to align 3 stars, refine the polar alignment and then align 3 stars again, but they aren't perfectly round yet. I know this question is kinda obvious, but the belts aren't making perfect contact with the gears, they're a little bit elevated. Is that the issue or maybe my PA isn't the best? This picture was taken with 1600 iso and 30 seconds of exposition.
