I Had a Dream About an Entity Explaining Time and I Can’t Stop Thinking About it

Had one of the strangest dreams of my life last night and I can’t stop thinking about it.

In the dream, I met this “entity” that told me it had existed for over 400 years. It started explaining time to me in a way that honestly messed with my head. It said that all of time has already been written, and that humans only perceive it as linear because that’s the only way our minds are capable of experiencing it.

The best comparison it gave was a record player. A song already exists in full from beginning to end, but when you play it, you only hear it one moment at a time. According to the dream, time works the same way: the past, present, and future already exist simultaneously, but we experience them sequentially.

What’s weird is how calm and matter of fact the entity sounded, like it was explaining something obvious. The dream felt way more vivid than normal, almost like I was being told information instead of just dreaming random nonsense.

Has anyone else had dreams like this? Or are there actual theories/philosophies that describe time this way?

Is Majahuitas all-inclusive worth it? Or should I just do beach club + boat transport?

Going to Majahuitas Beach Club soon and trying to decide between these three options:

• Beach club ticket + round trip boat transport = about $120 USD

• All-inclusive package = about $180 USD and includes 3-course meal + 5 drinks

• Table Service = $190 USD and includes beach club ticket + $2000 Mexican Peso credit towards food and drinks plus $300 Mexican Peso service charge + Round Trip boat travel.

For people who have actually gone:
Is the all-inclusive actually worth the extra money?
If I skip all-inclusive, can I still buy food there for a reasonable price or bring my own food?

About how much are cocktails / beers / tacos individually?

Does the all-inclusive end early or actually last most of the event and what type of liquor is included in the all inclusive pricing?

Also… realistically, how strict are they about bringing alcohol in? I’ve seen mixed comments online about mini bottles / hydroflasks / sneaking drinks in and wanted to know how hard security actually checks bags. Thanks!

I wish their website answered most of these questions but they don’t.

Anyone been to Panda Fest before? Which food vendors are the must tries?

Going to Panda Fest today and trying to plan out what food spots are actually worth hitting first. Has anyone here tried any of these food vendors before?

Trying to make the most of it without wasting stomach space lol.

Hey y’all. My mom recently purchased a home and she just got her first water bill from Si Environmental (Fort Bend County MUD 162 in Richmond, TX) and it seems pretty high, so I wanted to see if anyone here is familiar with them.

Total bill: $441.82

Breakdown:
Water: $118.89
Sewer: $60.50
Surface water fee: $142.43
Fire: $20.00
Deposit: $75.00
Transfer fee: $25.00

I get that the deposit and transfer fee are one time, but that surface water fee of $142 seems really high.

Is that something y’all see every month with Si Environmental/MUDs around here, or could that be prorated or a one-time thing?

Also, does the water usage look normal? It shows about 38k gallons which also feels high for a smaller home.

Just trying to figure out what a “normal” monthly bill should look like going forward. Appreciate any insight. She plans to call the water company tomorrow
