Extension of educational license randomly declined

I'm a member of a university faculty (not a student) and I've been on an educational license for many years. So far Autodesk has always accepted a letter from the faculty head as a proof tor the educational letter. The letter states that I'm a faculty member and that I use Inventor for educational / training purposes. This year, out of the blue, they refused to accept this letter and claimed that it is "not an official document". This is nonsense but there is no way for me to object because the verification process is automatized and the decision is sent from a do-not-reply address. I've tried to resubmit the document with an added note explaining that this is in fact an official document but it got rejected again within a minute. I'm a bit at a loss here. I can't call Autodesk and complain because I'm not on a subscription and the university folks also don't know how to handle it. What can I do?

I have bilateral esophoria with around 20 prism diopters (4-5 degrees per eye). Apparently I've always had latent strabismus but double vision only started at the age of 55. At first only when I was tired but after 2 years I needed prism glasses (3 PD) which just about fixed the double vision.

I am considering surgery but knowing that my esophoria is relatively mild I'm not sure if a surgery would even help. Why do I even bother? I've been a pilot (non-commercial) for a long time and where I live, prism glasses are not permitted for pilots. Fun fact: for US pilots, prism glasses are perfectly fine, but I digress.

So, I can continue to "hide" my prism glasses, or I could do a surgery and stop needing the prism glasses.

My question is. can they adjust the eyes this precise? I think I've read somewhere that the outcome is hit and miss within about 10 PD.
